My mother's garden and a few issues of Country Sampler were my inspiration to begin painting aged tin and wooden boards. I consider it "Garden Art", but it can be used anywhere outdoors or in. I started off by painting a few pieces for her garden. This hobby grew and I started making them to sell at our hometown "Market on the Square" on Saturday mornings. My dad cuts the tin for me and sands down the edges nice and smooth so there are no sharp or rough places. They can be hung on a wire (included), attached to a garden stake (included), or nailed directly onto a tree, fence, etc.
Here are my own "Garden Art" pieces in my front yard. My husband nailed them into the two pine trees that beckon your attention to our front flower bed. If you are interested in purchasing your own piece of unique art, contact me at joannmariestone@gmail.com.
